Web Design I
Prerequisite: Computer Applications, MS Word for Business or Computer Programming
This course is for students exploring the field of web design and web authoring. This course provides an introduction to Dreamweaver. Topics include creating a web page and local website, adding Web pages, links and images, tables and pages layout, page layout with frames, forms, templates and style sheets, and layers, image maps, and navigation bars. In addition, creation of images using Fireworks, coverage of page layout and frames, animations and behaviors and media objects is included in this course.
Web Design II
Prerequisite: C or better in Web Design I
Web Design II further explores the use of Macromedia’s Dreamweaver as a Website editor. The course will emphasize image creation and alteration using Macromedia Fireworks and Flash. Flash animations will be used to further develop interactive and dynamic WebPages.
